'It's Showtime' Host Jugs Jugueta Marries Andie Aguirre

It's Showtime host and Ichyworms frontman Jugs Jugueta married his longtime partner Andie Aguirre on Saturday, May 30, at the St. Alphonsus Mary de Liguori-Magallanes, Makati.

Among the entourage were Vice Ganda as the ring bearer and Vhong Navarro as the coin bearer. Anne Curtis and Karylle were also part of the entourage.

Angelia Ong from Manila Crowned as Miss Philippines Earth 2015 Winner

Angelia Ong, 24, of the city of Manila was crowned Miss Philippines Earth 2015 during the beauty pageant's grand coronation night held at the Mall of Asia Arena, Sunday night, May 31.

Angelia Gabrena Ong from Manila City has been a dreamer since her childhood days.

"I have learned that it is possible to be complete as an individual even though your family isn't. I have learned what unconditional love is and have learned to make it on my own as early as possible."

Her ambition in life is to be successful loving woman who knows how to love herself in order to love other people too. She wanted to win the Miss Philippines Earth 2015 pageant because she believed that this is the perfect place to express and spread the message of saving the Mother Nature.

"It will give me the authority and legitimacy to inspire people on a personal level and up to encouraging them not to take Mother Earth for granted."

At the same event Chanel Olive Thomas hailing from San Antonio, Nueva Ecija was crowned Miss Philippines Earth Air 2015, Catherine Joy Marin hailing from Bago City was crowned Miss Philippines Earth Water 2015, Carla Valderrama hailing from Siniloan, Laguna was crowned Miss Philippines Earth Fire 2015 and Jona Sweett hailing from Iloilo City was crowned Miss Philippines Earth Eco-Tourism 2015.

The winner of the Miss Philippines Earth 2015 Miss Angelia Ong also received a special award as Miss Hana 2015.

The 15th edition of the Miss Philippines Earth was hosted by Kapamilya star Robi Domingo, TV Patrol reporter Ginger Conejero and Miss Earth 2008 Karla Henry from Cebu City.

VIRAL: Drunk Teen Party Goer Sexually Abused by Drinking Buddies in Bacolod City

A drunk party girl was allegedly groped and abused by the group of boys in Bacolod City. A photo of the incident is currently making rounds online.

According to the uploader, the unidentified teen girl apparently was pretty drunk. We intentionally censored the face of one of the men and blur the flesh part of the girl to avoid the issue of cyber bullying. Netizens identified the woman, according to them the photo was taken from one of the most-visited bars in Bacolod City along Lacson Street.

Inspector Jinky Lou Ramos, chief of WCPD, said they are still validating if the incident really happened in Bacolod and if the victim is still a minor, Sun Star reported.

Meanwhile a post from Pilipinas Underground, explaining and apologizing for this viral photo. The photo that has been making the rounds online was taken from the DYNAMIC PULSE Party of Playmate Nation held in Marikina last February 14, 2015.

Couple Hospitalized After Getting Stuck Together During Ocean Sex

An Italian couple having sex in the waters off Italy's Porto San Giorgio were hospitalized after they ended getting stuck together due to suction.

Unfortunately, they couldn’t separate after the deed was complete, no matter how much they tried. Things got uncomfortable quickly.

The couple had formed something of a seal by having sex underwater, and they were suctioned together. They reportedly waited in the water until a woman with a towel came by, at which point the couple made for land.

Helpful strangers called a medic, who helped transport the pair to a local hospital. There, doctors gave the woman a shot normally used to help dilate the cervix, at which point her lover was able to detach.

Let this be a lesson to the young and publicly frisky. Just beware of the suction effect, wrote Vamshare.

'Nathaniel' Hits All Time High National TV Rating

ABS-CBN’s inspirational drama series “Nathaniel” reaches a new milestone as it scored its all-time high national TV rating. According to data from Kantar Media last Thursday (May 28), the series’ episode where the angel played by Kapamilya child actor Marco Masa used his wings once again to save his friend hit a national TV rating of 37%.

It is more than double the rating of its rival program in GMA “Pari Ko’y” (16.8%). In the episode, Nathaniel was left with no choice but to use his powers as an angel to save Abby (Yesha Camile) from falling off a building. Will Nathaniel be able to hide his real identity from everyone?

Vice Ganda Posts a Photo of Himself Without Make-Up on Instagram #ProudToBeMe

After removing his make-up, contact lens, and hair extension in “It’s Showtime” yesterday (May 28) to show that real beauty comes from within, Vice Ganda posted a picture of him without make-up on Instagram with the hashtag #ProudToBeMe.

The said hashtag then became a nationwide trending topic on Twitter after netizens posted their own unfiltered photos, inspired by Vice to be proud of who they are.

Vice’s “revelation” in “It’s Showtime” happened in his “Advice Ganda” segment, where he comforted a bullying victim who said her schoolmates often called her ugly.

He also advised the student to be proud of her own looks. “We can’t force other people to call us beautiful, but we, no matter what happens, should always see ourselves as beautiful. What our hearts say should always be more powerful than the words of other people. You are beautiful whoever you are because God created you, so you should never be affected by what others say,” shared Vice.

'Your Face Sounds Familiar' Final 4 Named

After taking on different identities as music icons, the eight celebrity performers of “Your Face Sounds Familiar” are about to undergo one last total transformation to try to make it to the program’s Final Four performers who will compete in the Grand Showdown.

This weekend (May 30 and 31), the top-rating program will unveil the Final Four who will fight for public votes in the finals by summing up the performers’ overall scores spanning 12 weeks’ worth of performances.

'It Takes Gutz to be a Gutierrez' Unfurls on Lifestyle Network and TFC this June

Parents of Child on a Leash Speaks

The parents of the child who was filmed being dragged around on a leash have spoken. They handed themselves in to social services after there was online backlash over the horrifying images they posted online, showing their naked child crouched over a bowl of dog food.

The parents, who declined to face the camera, never knew that the simple upload of their baby's picture will change their family.

The mother said the baby played on the shoelace and tried to mimic their Shih Tzu, who have just given birth. It is also a co-incidence when they were feeding their dogs that's why, a bowl with dog food was there.

She noted that everything was just for fun.

"Yung sintas po ng sapatos kinuha po ng anak ko. Pinaglaruan niya. Mismong nilagay niya sa leeg niya. E meron kaming asong baging panganak na Shih Tzu. Kumbaga, nakikita ng bata. Tapos ginagaya niya. E natiyempo pa na nagpapakain kami ng aso nun. Kaya yung nakita niyo po sa video na dog food, kaya naisama siya dun. Napagkatuwaan na din siya," said the mother.

The father of the child, on the other hand, asked the people to stop bashing them.

"Kilala ko ang asawa ko. Sa mga nagcocomment, sana tigilan niyo na kami," said the father.

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) said they now have the custody of the one-year-old child and noted that he is in good condition.

Assistant secretary JV Jimenez said the photo might send a wrong impression to the people noting that they "violated that right of the child."

The parents might also be facing legal charges following the incident.

'Pangako Sa 'Yo' Debut Dominates National TV Ratings

ABS-CBN’s highly anticipated primetime drama series “Pangako Sa’yo” made a grand comeback on television as the remake of the classic Filipino love story topbilled by Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo debuted as the most-watched TV program in the country.

According to data from Kantar Media last Monday (May 25), the pilot episode of “Pangako Sa’yo” topped the list of most-watched TV programs in Philippines with a national TV rating of 34%. It is more than double than its rival program in GMA “Let the Love Begin” (15%).

Meanwhile, even before “Pangako Sa’yo” aired its pilot episode, the show’s official hashtag #PSYAngUnangPagIbig already became a worldwide and nationwide trending topic on the microblogging site Twitter because of the fans’ excitement for the new primetime offering. Positive tweets flooded social networking sites as netizens praised the effective performances of Jodi Sta. Maria, Ian Veneracion, and Angelica Panganiban as Amor, Eduardo, and Claudia, respectively.

Helmed by three of the best directors in the country Rory Quintos, Dado Lumibao, and Olivia Lamasan, “Pangako Sa’yo” revolves around the promise of true and never-ending love from two generations—the love story of Amor and Eduardo, who were separated by Claudia, and the couple brought together by destiny, Yna (Kathryn) and Angelo (Daniel).

VIRAL VIDEO: Man Abuses Elderly Woman in Bus Station

A video showing a man abusing an old and weak lady in a bus station.

The video, which was taken and uploaded by Domy Del Rosario via his Facebook account, showed an angry man forcefully trying to lay a lady down on the chairs of Victory Liner in Cubao.

The lady, on the other hand, tried to fend him off. However, he was too strong for her.

The man then used a towel to pin her off the chairs, making her shout in pain. Some of the bystanders in the place were distracted with the scream prompting the man to back off a little bit.

However, a few seconds after, the man did the abuse repeatedly.

"Sorry po sa nahagip ng camera nagmamalasakit lang," said Mr. Del Rosarion. "Di ko kasi matiis panoorin na sinasaktan ang nanay na to. Pls. share."

In a report by ABS-CBN News, the authorities are now tracking the man down to make him pay for his actions.

The video showed an obvious violation of the Republic Act 9262 or Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004. If the woman was also hurt the incident, he might also be facing physical injuries charges.

OMG! Is Gretchen Ho Pregnant?

Former Ateneo Blue Eagles female volleyball player and now host Gretchen Ho is rumored to be pregnant with Robi Domingo's child. Gretchen and Robi confirmed their relationship sometime 2012.

Gretchen Ho has spoken.

In an interview with Push, Ho straightly denied that she is not pregnant and she doesn’t have the idea to where it came from.

"May tsismis daw na buntis daw ako. Buntis ako? Kung kailan pumayat ako, doon pa ako na-tsismis? Ewan ko kung anong issue nila bakit nila ako na ginagawang buntis," she said.

She also clarified the issue that she and Domingo are also planning to get married.

"Matagal pa, matagal pa. Career muna kami ngayon," Ho said.

Why Jake Cuenca Walked Out of 'GGV'?

Actor Jake Cuenca has confirmed reports that he walked out of the taping for an episode of "Gandang Gabi Vice," where he's supposed to promote his upcoming show.

Cuenca explained in an interview with ABS-CBN news Friday why he walked out of the show which surprised the show host Vice Ganda.

"Nagulat ako. Siyempre bago tinawag ang mga pangalan namin, pagsilip ko sa pintuan, nakita ko 'yung ex ko. Nandoon kasi lahat ng candidates ng Miss Earth. I just didn't want to put my ex-girlfriend in that situation," he said.

Cuenca is formerly involved with Filipino-Australian model Chanel Olive Thomas, who is one of the 41 candidates in the pageant.

"Hindi sa hindi ko kaya [na nandoon siya]. Naging gentleman lang ako na ayaw ko ilagay sa alanganin 'yung tao, lalo na moment niya ngayon na mag Miss Earth," the actor added.

According to the actor, he approached Vice Ganda to apologize for what had happened adding the host understood the situation.

"Hindi ko naman sila pwede paalisin. Paano ko ipo-promote ng maayos sa capability ko na nagulat ako na nandoon 'yung ex ko? Paano ko mapo-promote 'yung show ko?" he added.

After what happened, Cuenca said he still respects his former girlfriend and believes he did the right thing.

"Sa totoo, wala pa akong ginagawa. Kaya kung napansin nyo yung higa ko dun medyo nakatakip ang kamay ko sa tiyan ko. Nag-diet lang ako kasi nung Crazy Beautiful You, medyo lumaki ako dun."

"Kasi galing kami ng States nun, 'di ba? 'Tapos pagbalik ko nakita ako ni Direk Rory, medyo nag-panic siya kasi sobrang taba ko. So nagpapayat ako, sumakto naman sa taping, medyo pumayat na ako."

'Your Face Sounds Familiar' is Most Watched Weekend Program in Philippines

Viewers nationwide continue to tune in to the total transformation of eight celebrity performers in “Your Face Sounds Familiar,” the top-rating ABS-CBN variety show that is set to serve up more exciting performances in its last three weeks.

Based on data from Kantar Media, the program hit a national TV rating of 31.3% last Saturday (May 16), or more than double the points recorded by its rival program on GMA, “Celebrity Bluff” (14.6%).

“Your Face” also triumphed last Sunday (May 17) with a national TV rating of 30%, or almost eight points higher than “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho’s” 21.7%.

On both days, “Your Face” topped the list of the most watched programs in urban and rural homes nationwide.

This weekend (May 23 and 24), “Your Face” will feature the transformation of Tutti Caringal as Ely Buendia, Maxene Magalona as Paris Hilton, Jolina Magdangal as Diana Ross, and Karla Estrada as Bonnie Tyler.

Not to be missed are the performances of Jay-R as Alanis Morissette, Nyoy Volante as Rod Stewart, Melai Cantiveros as Fred Panopio, and Edgar Allan Guzman as MC Hammer.

'Pasion de Amor’ PH Version Heats Up Primetime Beginning June 1

Primetime television has never been this hot as ABS-CBN gathers some of today’s hottest stars for the highly-anticipated remake of the worldwide hit telenovela sensation “Pasion De Amor” premiering this Monday (June 1).

Topbilled by Jake Cuenca, Ejay Falcon, Joseph Marco, Ellen Adarna, Coleen Garcia, and newest Kapamilya Arci Munoz, ‘Pasion De Amor’ relives the passionate story of love and revenge between the Samonte brothers and Elizondo sisters.

Despite being orphans at an early age, the Samonte siblings namely Juan (Jake), Oscar (Ejay), Franco (Joseph) and Olivia (Ingrid Dela Paz) grew up filled with love in their hearts and tightly knit as a family.

Can Juan, Oscar, and Franco succeed in their plan to manipulate the Elizondo sisters in their hands? How far will revenge and anger take them? In a battle where love is their greatest revenge, will love also be the cure to end their pain?

Maegan Aguilar Dating 61-Year-Old Musician?

Freddie Aguilar's daughter, Maegan Aguilar is reportedly dating a 61-year old classical guitarist.

In a video released by GMA news, the 62 year-old Filipino rock icon said that he has no problem whoever her daughter is dating as long as she is happy.

"Okay lang 'yun, basta maligaya siya, diba?" Aguilar said. "Hindi 'yung kasing edad nga niya tapos hindi naman maligaya. Wala namang problema. Basta ang hangad ko sa anak ko, si Maegan, ay kaligayahan."

"Hindi natin sila mapipigilan kung ano ang gusto nilang gawin sa buhay nila. Nandoon na tayo, ginabayan na natin sila, so sila na ang bahala pagdating ng wastong edad kung anong pipiliin nila," Aguilar added.

In 2013, Maegan accused her father of neglecting her and her children, because of his girlfriend now-wife Jovie Albao, who reportedly turned 18 last November.

Aguilar and 16-year-old Jovi Albao got married through a Muslim wedding last November 2013 in Buluan, Maguindanao, which is month after the singer admitted their relationship.

Why Bela Padilla moved to ABS-CBN

Actress Bela Padilla has returned to ABS-CBN where she began her showbiz career.

During the announcement of ABS-CBN's TV remake of Fernando Poe Jr.'s "Ang Probinsyano," it was revealed that Bela has left GMA-7 and has moved to ABS-CBN.

She will be part of "Ang Probinsyano," which will star Coco Martin.

In an interview with PEP.ph, Padilla said she has long been planning her comeback to the Kapamilya network wanting to "seal my place as a kapamilya."

"I just turned 24. I have to look out for myself. I'm thinking of how long I want to stay here in showbiz and how I'm going to protect my career in showbiz. Right now, this is what I feel is right for me. I'm not saying this is the perfect path. Pero for me, I feel like it is," she said.

About leaving GMA-7, the actress said she wanted to explore more options. She also said that GMA had a counter offer, but her wish to transfer to ABS-CBN prevailed.

"I just felt like I want to try something new. Also, as an actor I'm looking for something else to do. It's not that I was bored pero medyo nauulit na yung ginagawa ko dati," she said.

Bela Padilla was part of Star Magic Batch 15 but signed up with GMA-7 in 2010 changing her name from Krista Valle to Bela Padilla.
