Kathryn Bernardo Finally Fights for Daniel Padilla in 'Pangako Sa 'yo'

Ex-PBB Housemate Wendy Valdez Suffers Miscarriage

On Instagram Wednesday, former "Pinoy Big Brother" housemate Wendy Valdez confirmed she suffered a miscarriage.

I am not pregnant na. 😢 A week ago,I had spotting for two days that I had to rest for a week and take meds to protect the baby. In that moment I asked God, “Lord if ever there would have a chance that I would lose this baby, how would my faith seem, since I announced it to everyone and claimed your promises?”. In my heart, God told me that such incident would show how His grace works for His people. That in this life there is suffering, wether you are a Christian or not. But the difference is how a person handles suffering when he has Christ in his life. Because with Christ, you become an overcomer by believing in His promises. That He is sovereign and in control. He knows this before it would happen. His plans are perfect for me and my family. And that “All things work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose.” Today the doctor said that I have a blighted ovum. The egg did not develop to an embryo. He said its only a one time occurence in a woman and would not happen again. I felt sad… My dreams and visions changed. And then I told myself. “GOD IS IN CONTROL” HE is faithful and His plans are great for me and my family… In just a few moments I have accepted it and thought of plans for me and my husband this Valentines season coming along. We would have each other to have fun and enjoy each other just the two of us. And when my body is ready, we can try again. 😊 For me, it worked for the good because I have experienced a week where my husband took care of me selflessly and I really felt loved by him. He would remind me to take my meds. I would see that we can be selfless because we are afraid that we might lose the baby if we choose to be angry and entertain pride when we fight. We saw that selflessness is possible and we can aim for that even with or without the fear of miscarrying because of stress. Great lessons learned. Hearts revealed. Relationship tested and our bond became even stronger. Sacrifices seen. A glimpse of selfless love. All because of what had happened. And the rest, we leave to God. After all, life is not about my happiness, its about God’s name being glorified. ❤👐

Zanjoe Marudo Admits Break-up with Bea Alonzo. Zanjoe Marudo admitted on national television that he and Bea Alonzo are no longer in a relationship!

Zanjoe Marudo and Bea Alonzo have decided to end their relationship.

In an interview with Boy Abunda on “Tonight With Boy Abunda” Wednesday night, January 20, 2016, the 33-year-old model-actor, admitted the news.

“Zanjoe, kayo ba ni Bea Alonzo ay hiwalay na?” Abunda asked.

“Opo,” said Zanjoe, who was trying to control his emotions.

Zanjoe also admitted that there is no easy way in doings things. He knew he had to go through such process.

“Wala namang madaling way so kailangan talagang pagdaanan,” said the “Tubig at Langis” star when asked about coping with the break up.

Abunda apologized to Marudo for asking the question saying that he felt the pain.

Marudo and Alonzo were together for five years. She admitted her relationship in October 2011. A few years after, she also admitted that she use to have problems with him usually because of the lack of time for each other.

'Celebrity Playtime’ Now Airs on Saturdays and Sundays

Double your dose of fun and laughter every weekend by watching ABS-CBN’s talk-comedy-game show “Celebrity Playtime,” which will start airing on Saturdays (4:45 PM) and Sundays (5 PM) beginning January 23.

“I’m very thankful that people appreciate the show. I’m used to doing ‘Deal or No Deal’ and ‘Minute to Win It’ where there is a bit of tension and I need to make the player nervous. On ‘Playtime,’ it’s very light and all fun,” said host Luis Manzano.

As the happiest hour on TV continues, the competition between its teams intensifies. Team Ka-Familiar composed of Karla Estrada, Nyoy Volante, EA Guzman, and Melai Cantiveros remains the defending champion with a total of P1.6 million in earnings.

Their rival, K Brosas, Pooh, Chokoleit, and Pokwang of Team Building, vow to do their best and defeat the other team.

‘Suicide Squad’ Trailer and Posters Revealed. The studio has also released a cast image to support the trailer launch.

The first official trailer for David Ayer's superhero film "Suicide Squad" landed tonight, revealing the ambitious Warner Bros. movie in all its glory.

The studio has also released a cast image of “Suicide Squad” to support the trailer launch.

The new action adventure “Suicide Squad” brings DC Comics’ super villain team to the big screen under the direction of David Ayer (“Fury”), who also wrote the screenplay.

The film stars two-time Oscar nominee Will Smith as Deadshot; Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg; Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn; Oscar winner Jared Leto as the Joker; Jai Courtney as Boomerang; and Cara Delevingne as Enchantress.

Completing the cast are Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, Jay Hernandez as Diablo, Adam Beach as Slipknot and Karen Fukuhara as Katana.

“Suicide Squad” is produced by Charles Roven (“The Dark Knight” trilogy, upcoming “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”) and Richard Suckle (“American Hustle”). Zack Snyder, Deborah Snyder, Colin Wilson and Geoff Johns are serving as executive producers.

The film is slated for release in the Philipines on August 3, 2016, from Warner Bros. Pictures.

MTRCB Summons 'On The Wings Of Love' Officials Over Striptease Scene

The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) summoned the officials of ABS-CBN for the scene of “On the Wings of Love” (OTWL) featuring striptease.

This move by the MTRCB is in response to the complaint filed by the Philippine National Police (PNP), specifically to the striptease scene by James Reid on January 11 episode where he wore a police uniform.

In the letter dated January 18, MTRCB Chairperson Eugenio “Toto” Villareal said ABS-CBN needs to provide measures for the incident not to happen again.

The letter reads:

We refer to the above-captioned episod of the subject program, currently showing over Channel 2, ABS-CBN. The said episode portrayed actor James Reid doing a strip tease while wearing a PNP General Officer uniform, allegedly with a police badge and showing the rank of SPO4. According to a statement by PNP Spokesperson CSupt Wilben Mayot on or about 14 January 2016, “(t)he PNP uniform is sacred to policemen and police women” and “the strip tease scene of Reid did not properly reflect a policeman’s duty to enforce the law and assist citizens.
We gather that the network concerned recently issued an “apology” over media. However, the purported apology was in general terms, and did not specify what concrete and measurable steps that the program as well as the network will take to prevent any repeat of the incident.

The officials of the OTWL has since apologized after the news broke off. The statement noted that there is no intention of destroying the image of PNP.

Willie Revillame's 'Wowowin' Airs Final Episode

After nine months of airing, the comeback show of Willie Revillame entitled "Wowowin" aired its final episode.

Willie refreshed the memorable moments he had during the show saying what’s important is the happiness that he and the crew brought to the people.

“Kami ay maging gamot niyo sa inyong kalungkutan, maging gamot niyo kung kayo po’y nada-down sa buhay. Kasi kung napapanood niyo po ang programang ito, dito niyo po nakikita ang tunay na buhay,” said Revillame.

Revillame then thanked all the people who supported his show.

“Sa lahat po ng nagmamahal sa programang ‘Wowowin,’ salamat po at hindi niyo kami iniwan sa siyam na buwan na nakapiling namin kayo,” Revillame added.

Revillame also thanked the officials of GMA Network for giving him the opportunity to help other people.

According to a source of the Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP), Revillame will have a new show, which is another variety show that will air every weekdays from 5:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.

Revillame also hinted the show,

“At sa gabi-gabi ho bago ako matulog, ang tanging dasal ko lamang, sana’y araw-araw na tayong magkakasama,” said Revillame. “Araw-araw ko na kayong makakapiling, at araw-araw ko na kayong mapasaya at mabigyan ng pag-asa yung mga akala nilang wala nang pag-asa sa buhay.”

This Alcoholic Mother Was Seen Slicing and Eating Her 2-year-old Daughter Alive! Shocking! Portions of the scalp of the child were damaged

A shocking news report in India has caught the attention of the netizens!

A 40-year-old alcoholic mother name Pramila Mondal was caught in the act of eating her 2-year-old daughter's flesh. She was seen slicing, cutting and eating her child's flesh.

The 2-year-old daughter who was identified as Bharati Mondal was rescued by her uncle Dablu.

“It was around noon and I was resting at home when I heard loud cries of Bharati. I ran to check on her, but there the scene I saw was beyond shocking. Bharati was bleeding profusely as Pramila was eating the flesh of her head. I immediately snatched away Bharati from Pramila and rushed her to Malda Medical College and Hospital where she is admitted to ICU.” Dablu said.

Portions of the scalp of Bharati were damaged, which forced the authorities to bring her to a more advanced hospital.

Meanwhile, after the news about what Pramila did to her child broke out, her neighbors gathered in front of her home and beat her up.

Coco Martin joined millions of devotees on Saturday’s procession of the Black Nazarene in Quiapo, Manila. Before the highly anticipated procession, Coco Martin attended a Mass at Quiapo Church.

The 34-year-old Coco Martin also attended a Mass at Quiapo Church before the start of the procession and even made a speech before the crowd wherein he shared his devotion to the Black Nazarene image of Jesus Christ.

The popular primetime actor was quoted as saying “‘Pag nagpupunta po ako ng Quiapo, nagdadasal po ako. Sinasabi ko, ‘Mahal na Nazareno, bigyan Niyo lang po sana ako ng trabaho, kahit ano. Kahit hindi na po ako matulog, tatanggapin ko po iyan, basta bigyan Niyo po ako ng maayos na trabaho na mabubuhay ko ang pamilya ko,” he said.

“Noong mga panahon po na iyun, wala pa po sa isip ko na papasukin ko ang mundo ng showbiz at pag-aartista. Siguro andito ako ngayon dahil ang purpose ko ay para ma-inspire ko kayo.” Coco Martin stated.

Coco Martin revealed during previous interviews with ABS-CBN that he grew up going to Quiapo Church with his grandmother and he could not forget the time he was able to touch the Black Nazarene.

The actor also revealed to the public that even now that he is already a big star on national TV, he continues to go to Quiapo Church to pray, express his gratitude and ask for guidance.

“Siyempre ‘pag artista ka imbes na ang focus mo makapagsimba ang mangyayari mapupunta sa akin. Kaya talagang palihim akong nagpupunta doon, minsan nasa sulok lang ako, nasa labas lang ako ng simbahan,” he said.

Frozen is the 2013 film by Disney featuring the life of the ice princess. It was dubbed as one of the most successful and most remarkable animated film of all time. According to Box-Office Mojo, the film earned $1.2 billion and ranked 9th in the all-time grossing films.

Last year, Sarah Geronimo and Kim Chiu did the honors of being teh face of the calendar. They portrayed Rapunzel from “Tangled” and Mulan from the movie of the same name.

“Beauty and the Beastie” Earns P400 Million in Box Office Income

The official entry of Star Cinema to the MMFF, titled “Beauty and the Beastie,” has passed the P400 million mark in box office income according to the announcement released by Vice Ganda on Wednedsay.

The veteran box office comedian who was one of the main cast in the movie, Vice Ganda expressed his gratitude towards those who supported the film which also starred Coco Martin, James Reid and Nadine Lustre. The “It’s Showtime” host wrote: “400Million THANK YOUs mga Kapamilya!”

TV Patrol also revealed on a news report on Tuesday that the movie “Beauty and the Beasty” ranked as the top earning entry as of January 2, followed by the Kapuso movie “My Bebe Love,” featuring the AlDub tandem. Aside from the top two movies, also included in the official list of highest-grossing MMFF-entry movies were the “Haunted Mansion,” and “Walang Forever.”

Although the MMFF executive committee did not specify the exact figures of the box office income of the eight official MMMFF-entry movies, the producers of each movies released their respective figures online.

According to the MMFF, they did not specify the figures for each film to avoid influencing the decision of moviegoers. A report by Pep, also revealed that the movie “My Bebe Love” already earned P322 million as of January 2, 2016.

The 8-year-old daughter of Joanne Moser claims that every night, her toys are being stolen. So, to solve the case, the mother of this little girl sets up a camera outside their rooms, to find out who is stealing her toys.

The night has come, and everything's in place. What shocked them is when her younger son sneaks into her daughter's room in the middle of the night. Take note, the door of the room of the little girl was locked, but with the use of a nail cutter, this little boy was able to unlock the door.

The famous Transgender Maria Sofia Love who is very known for making 'Pak na Pak! Mowdelling para sa ekonomiya ng bansa!' have been making the rounds on facebook after having an alleged video scandal video leaked on the internet Thursday night, December 17.

The alleged video clip is a 2 minutes and 33 seconds long video showing the London-based model engaged in an intimate moment together with a foreigner who is said to be his boyfriend.

VIRAL: Kim Chiu was Dancing with Enchong Dee..Then this Wardrobe Malfunction Happened! It can be seen that her attire was misaligned causing her to slightly pull it down.

Kimberly Sue Yap Chiu, better known as Kim Chiu, is a Chinese Filipino actress. She was discovered when she won the first ever title of being the Teen Big Winner in the reality show, Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition. Kim first starred in the television series, Sana Maulit Muli which won her the year's Most Promising Female Star at GMMSF. Kim was Born on April 19, 1990 in Tacloban.

But now, a trending issue, including her has been making rounds over the social media sites. It was the performance that she and Enchong Dee did for their production number in ASAP.

Some people notice the wardrobe malfunction of Kim Chui. The production number includes water that makes it more sensual. When Kim Chiu jumped off of the platform it can be seen that her attire was misaligned causing her to slightly pull it down. The video shows clearly that Kim's is being conscious with her clothes on the next part of their performance.

The netizens and fans were outraged by what happened since it was the second malfunction that happened to her.

'Tawag ng Tanghalan' Returns to Television in 'It’s Showtime'

Noontime show “It’s Showtime” starts the year with a bang as it launches the grand come back of the classic singing contest that gave rise to today’s OPM legends, “Tawag ng Tanghalan.”

Now respected artists in the music industry, Nora Aunor, Pepe Pimentel, and Bobot Mortiz started out as contenders in the said contest. With its return in 2016, “Tawag ng Tanghalan” once again calls for new talents from Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao, and Metro Manila to find the country’s next singing superstar.

Four contestants will battle daily and will prove their singing prowess to the madlang people and the hurados. However, when the singer goes out of tune, “Jhong the Gong” (Jhong Hilario) will hit a gong that signals the contestants to stop singing. Big prizes awaits the defending champion as he or she could win P25,000 while the runners up will get P5,000 as consolation prize.

Last Saturday (Jan 2), four contestants battled it out and showed what they got to the madlang people and the hurados. Michelle Arcain from Davao City emerged as the first weekly finalist and will return on Monday (Jan 4) to defend her title.

This week, OPM’s greatest singers Rey Valera, Rico J. Puno, and Bobot Mortiz with today’s top singers Nyoy Volante and Yeng Constantino serve as judges and give feedback on the contestants’ performances.

Meanwhile, with the launch of “Tawag ng Tanghalan,” Amy Perez and Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla are now officially part of the “It’s Showtime” family. Amy and Mariel thanked the ABS-CBN management and the madlang people for the trust and support they are getting and greeted everyone a Happy New Year.

‘Ningning’ Set to Return to Isla Baybay in Show’s Last Two Weeks

Ningning (Jana Agoncillo) is all set to return to her simple life in isla Baybay to see the beauty of her hometown before she loses her eyesight in the last two weeks of the top-rating morning weekday Kapamilya program.

After Ningning asks her tatay Dondon (Ketchup Eusebio) if they could go home to isla Baybay because of her health condition, Dondon happily tells Ningning that he will fulfill her wish to go back to their beloved hometown because it is what’s best for her daughter since the island is a much safer place than Manila. But before Ningning and Dondon move out of the big city, Ningning will find time to memorize and remember the faces of the people she met in Manila who had a great impact on her young life.

WATCH: Horror at the carnival! Subic Bay Roller Coaster Malfunctions, Leaves Riders Upside Down

"Horror at the carnival" this is one netizen noted after posting a video of a roller coaster.

The editor in chief of the Subic Bay News posted a video of the roller coaster that stopped at the top of the loop leaving the riders upside down.

What's more blood raising is that there is only one rescuer, which means that it will take time for the customers to be saved.

Kean Cipriano and Chynna Ortaleza Get Married. The Callalily vocalist and GMA talent tied the knot on New Year's Eve

Rock stars Kean Cipriano of Callalily and Chynna Ortaleza of Lara Serena are now husband and wife.

The Cipriano and Ortaleza took to their respective Instagram accounts to announce their marriage as well as their New Year’s greetings to their followers.

The couple cited a passage from the Corinthians in the Bible, which said “Love is patient, love is kind.” The photo showed their fingers wearing their wedding rings.

ABSCBN Has Chosen a New 'Darna' to Replace Angel Locsin! Angel Locsin will no longer be the star in the upcoming movie after she suffered a spinal injury.

After Angel locsin suffered a spinal injury, ABSCBN has finnaly found a NEW DARNA!

Everyone was devastated when they found out that Angel Locsin will no longer be the star in the upcoming movie. Angel is going through a treatment and therapies.

In her Instagram post she said, "And I hope and pray that you will give the same amount of love ad support to the new Darna. Rest assured that the ABS-CBN had already chosen the perfect feet to fill in Darna's boots, Again, Thank you," she claims that there is already a chosen 'Darna.'

Angel did not say whether who is going to be replacing her on the movie. But the Kapamilya recently released a survey that asked the netizens on who will be the next 'Darna'.

The nominations for the role includes Nadine Lustre, Jessy Mendiola and Liza Soberano. This survey gained a lot of negative feedback from the netizens.
