Angelia Ong, 24, of the city of Manila was crowned Miss Philippines Earth 2015 during the beauty pageant's grand coronation night held at the Mall of Asia Arena, Sunday night, May 31.
Angelia Gabrena Ong from Manila City has been a dreamer since her childhood days.
"I have learned that it is possible to be complete as an individual even though your family isn't. I have learned what unconditional love is and have learned to make it on my own as early as possible."
Her ambition in life is to be successful loving woman who knows how to love herself in order to love other people too. She wanted to win the Miss Philippines Earth 2015 pageant because she believed that this is the perfect place to express and spread the message of saving the Mother Nature.
"It will give me the authority and legitimacy to inspire people on a personal level and up to encouraging them not to take Mother Earth for granted."
At the same event Chanel Olive Thomas hailing from San Antonio, Nueva Ecija was crowned Miss Philippines Earth Air 2015, Catherine Joy Marin hailing from Bago City was crowned Miss Philippines Earth Water 2015, Carla Valderrama hailing from Siniloan, Laguna was crowned Miss Philippines Earth Fire 2015 and Jona Sweett hailing from Iloilo City was crowned Miss Philippines Earth Eco-Tourism 2015.
The winner of the Miss Philippines Earth 2015 Miss Angelia Ong also received a special award as Miss Hana 2015.
The 15th edition of the Miss Philippines Earth was hosted by Kapamilya star Robi Domingo, TV Patrol reporter Ginger Conejero and Miss Earth 2008 Karla Henry from Cebu City.
