Freddie Aguilar's daughter, Maegan Aguilar is reportedly dating a 61-year old classical guitarist.
In a video released by GMA news, the 62 year-old Filipino rock icon said that he has no problem whoever her daughter is dating as long as she is happy.
"Okay lang 'yun, basta maligaya siya, diba?" Aguilar said. "Hindi 'yung kasing edad nga niya tapos hindi naman maligaya. Wala namang problema. Basta ang hangad ko sa anak ko, si Maegan, ay kaligayahan."
"Hindi natin sila mapipigilan kung ano ang gusto nilang gawin sa buhay nila. Nandoon na tayo, ginabayan na natin sila, so sila na ang bahala pagdating ng wastong edad kung anong pipiliin nila," Aguilar added.
In 2013, Maegan accused her father of neglecting her and her children, because of his girlfriend now-wife Jovie Albao, who reportedly turned 18 last November.
Aguilar and 16-year-old Jovi Albao got married through a Muslim wedding last November 2013 in Buluan, Maguindanao, which is month after the singer admitted their relationship.
