Sofia Andres and Diego Loyzaga in ‘MMK’

A couple proves that your first love can be your last love even if time sets you apart for 50 years this Saturday (Oct 3) on “MMK.”

Neighbors Prima (Sofia Andres) and Teddy (Diego Loyzaga) literally grew up together in the late 40s and became really good friends. As they get to know each other more, their friendship slowly turned into romance.

When Teddy asked Prima’s hand in marriage, she unfortunately turned it down to prioritize her studies. This pushed Teddy to get married in the U.S. to an American while Prima, who was hoping he would wait for her, had no choice but to move on and start her own family.

Even as they grew separate lives, Teddy (Tonton Gutierrez) and Prima (Agot Isidro) couldn’t seem to forget each other over the years. When both become widowed and cross paths after five decades, can they still rekindle the fire of their past romance?

Joining the upcoming “MMK” episode are Marina Benipayo, Elisse Joson, Emmanuelle Vera, Carla Humphries, and Claire Ruiz. The episode is directed by Elfren Vibar and written by Joan Habana. “MMK” is led by business unit head Malou Santos.

Coco Martin's 'Ang Probinsyano' Debuts at No. 1 in National TV Ratings with 41.6%

Viewers nationwide tuned in to the premiere of the TV adaptation of “Ang Probinsyano” topbilled by the King of Primetime Teleserye, Coco Martin, as it recorded a national TV rating of 41.6%, or 25 points higher than that of its rival program “Marimar” on GMA with only 16.3%, according to data from Kantar Media.

The pilot episode, which shot to the top spot of the most watched programs nationwide, showed the emotional, physical, and mental struggles Ador (Coco Martin) went through in the academy that showed his commitment to his chosen profession.

The TV adaptation of the classic Fernando Poe Jr. film also gained positive comments from netizens online that the official hashtag #AngProbinsyanoSimula sa Twitter trended worldwide on Twitter.

Also topping the ratings game Monday night were programs of ABS-CBN Primetime Bida, which also featured the premiere of “Tonight with Boy Abunda” hosted by King of Talk Boy Abunda.

The Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla-starrer “Pangako Sa ‘Yo” also continued to dominate its timeslot with a national TV rating of 34.3%, 19 points higher than that of its rival “Beautiful Strangers” (14.9%). “On the Wings of Love,” topbilled by Nadine Lustre and James Reid, also won with 21.4% versus “My Faithful Husband’s” 12.6%.

When it comes to news, more viewers relied on “TV Patrol” that hit a national TV rating of 32.3%, a strong 14-point lead over “24 Oras” (18.1%).

“Pasion de Amor,” meanwhile, also continues to heat up primetime with a national TV rating of 26.3%, versus “Starstruck’s” 11%.

VIRAL: Gabriela Asks MTRCB to Probe It's Showtime for Pimping 'Pastillas Girl'. Gabriela asked the MTRCB to conduct an investigation for alleged 'exploitation of women'.

The Gabriela Women's Party has asked the MTRCB (Movie and Television Review and Classification Board) to conduct an investigation on the "Nasaan Ka Mr. Pastillas" segment of ABS-CBN's noontime variety show 'It's Showtime' for alleged 'exploitation of women'.

In a letter addressed MTRCB chairman Atty. Toto Villareal, Gabriela Secretary General Joan May Salvador said her organization have been receiving complaints from concerned netizens that the show is pimping 'Pastillas Girl' to various interested men.

The letter was also sent to the show's executive producer Mark Rejanoto to answer all the allegations.

Angelica Yap also known as 'Pastillas Girl' became viral sensation after she created a video where she recites how to make pastillas while seguing rants about her ex-boyfriend who cheated on her with her best friend.

ABS-CBN, MTRCB and "It's Showtime" have yet to comment on the issue.

First Time Tourist Victimized by 'Laglag-Bala' in NAIA! He was surprised that a .22 caliber bullet from the pocket of his luggage.

A first time tourist was detained by authorities for five days at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 for allegedly carrying a bullet.

Lane Michael White, 20, was travelling to Palawan along with his father and stepmother when they were stopped at the X-ray are of the Terminal 4. The guards repeatedly checked the bag on the X-Ray Machine. He said he was surprised that a .22 caliber bullet from the pocket of his luggage.

White denied that he owned the bullet.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News, he said a male security personnel allegedly told him that the case will be settled for P30,000.00. He declined insisting that he is innocent.

White, who belonged to a missionary group, also hired his own lawyer to work on the case.

"God endured the pain when he was being whipped at the cross and if I need to be detained just to prove my innocence so be it," said White.

Office of the Transport Security (OTS) suspended the people involved in the incident while continuously investigating the incident.

ABS-CBN Announces New Shows for 4th Quarter

ABS-CBN is sure to get more fans hooked with new shows in the remaining part of 2015.

Held at the Marriot Grand Ballroom in Pasay, the ABS-CBN trade event dubbed as “Shine, Kapamilya” started with a grand opening act of “It’s Showtime” hosts giving the guests a sneak peek of their “anim-versary” show to be held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum this Saturday (September 26).

One of the new shows revealed that Kapamilya viewers must not miss is the first series of the real-life sweethearts Erich Gonzales and Daniel Matsunaga entitled “Be My Lady.” Soon to bring “kilig” to every Kapamilya’s morning, “Be My Lady” will tell the unique love story of a foreigner and a Pinay.

Aside from the light series, ABS-CBN will also offer a different kind of drama as it soon airs “Tubig at Langis.” The series, which star Cristine Reyes and Zanjoe Marudo, will bravely tackle marriage problems.

ABS-CBN also introduced two series that will share stories of different family setups—“And I Love You So” topbilled by three promising teen stars namely Julia Barretto, Miles Ocampo and Iñigo Pascual and “You’re My Home” starring Richard Gomez, Dawn Zulueta, Jessy Mendiola, and JC De Vera.

Meanwhile, ABS-CBN also paid tribute to the late Fernando Poe Jr., the original star of the classic “Ang Probinsyano” through its teleserye remake of the said film. The series that is pegged to air in the Primetime Bida block will star Coco Martin and Maja Salvador.

Apart from the new and exciting teleseryes, the trade show also unveiled the newest game show every Kapamilya should watch out for—Celebrity Playtime. Hosted by Billy Crawford, the game show will be featuring various stars playing a mix of unique and known party games.

Present also at the event were the stars of high-rating programs that are currently airing— Jodi Sta. Maria and Ian Veneracio of “Pangako Sa ‘Yo,” James Reid and Nadine Lustre of “On the Wings of Love,” and Dawn, Zeus, teen big four Bailey, Franco, Jimboy and Ylona of “Pinoy Big Brother 737.”

‘Ningning’ Beats ‘Princess in the Palace’ in National TV Ratings

“Ningning” continues to shine brighter every morning as it triumphed over its new rival program, the debut of the drama show of GMA’s child star Ryzza Mae Dizon on Monday (September 21).

According to data from Kantar Media on September 21, “Ningning” garnered a national TV rating of 15.6%, three points higher than GMA’s “Princess in the Palace” with only 12.5%.

Meanwhile, “Ningning” earned a higher national TV rating of 17.3% on September 22, while GMA’s “Princess in the Palace” almost maintained its rating the previous the day with 12.6%, according to Kantar Media.

“Ningning,” which stars 6-year-old Kapamilya drama actress Jane Agoncillo, also continues its lead as the most watched daytime TV program in the country as it is the only daytime TV program that entered the top 10 most watched programs nationwide on September 22, ranking in the number 7 spot.

Meanwhile, viewers will witness this week the relationship behind Mama Isha’s (Tanya Garcia) closeness to Ningning (Jana Agoncillo) and Macmac (John Steven de Guzman).

VIRAL: Nurse Tries To Save A Drowned Man While Still Wearing Her Wedding Dress. She's been hailed as the 'Prettiest Bride'!

A young nurse has been dubbed the 'most prettiest bride' by Chinese media after trying to revive drowned man at her wedding shoot on September 21.

Guo Yuanyuan, 25, was shooting for her wedding on a beach in Dalian, north east of China when she heard a man drowning. She rushed and tried resuscitation while still wearing a wedding dress.

Witnesses said the man was seen waving from the beach. Some swimmers come to his aide and managed to bring him back ashore. However, he was already unconscious with his lips already purple and face turned blue.

The crowd gathered, but seems to know CPR.

Yuanyuan, who was about 100 feet away, happened to be shooting for her wedding. She immediately jumped off a three-foot ledge and rushed to the scene and proceeded giving the man a mouth to mouth resuscitation.

Despite it's already shown that the man is already in a sorry state, the woman didn't give up. However, she was unable to save the man.

The images of Yuanyuan have gone viral. Praises in China and all over the world.

Xiao Liu the fiance of Yuanyuan was proud of her noting that she had been enjoying helping other people.

"She enjoys helping people normally and that's what I like about her," said Liu.

After a long period of suspicious thoughts, a man finds his wife cheating on him. He discovered the scandalous habit of his wife when he sneaked into the house and found his wife in bed with another man. The man pulled out his camera and immediately recorded the incident. Later, the husband got revenge on his cheating wife by posting a video of her on Youtube. The video starts with an undisclosed censored out naked man leaving the room. Then, the husband confronted his wife concerning her cheating habits. The husbannd didn't even give his terrified wife the time to get dressed before he whipped his camera out and said: "This is going to go on the internet."

His wife quickly begged him not to do it but her disgruntled husband was not budging an inch. The angry cameraman even started yelling at her for not doing the beds enough or having enough food in the fridge, saying he should have guessed she was having an affair because of it.

Mixed reactions from internet users are all over the web. Some of them claimed that the video is fake and it was primarily a scripted scene for a pornographic material. Others argued that the man should have kept the video privately to avoid further damage to their relationship.

In an interview with Pang-Masa, the It's Showtime co-host said, "Sino bang nanggaya, sino bang ginaya? Paulit-ulit na lang 'yan. Sino bang original sa mundo?" This is Vice Ganda's respond to Joey de Leon's accusations.

Vice Ganda emphasized the importance of staying relevant to what the televiewers want to see.

"At basta, kahit ano'ng sabihin sa 'yo, for as long as everybody's talking about you, you remain to be relevant. And in showbusiness, it's all about being relevant," he said.

The comedian is thankful to fans who continuously support the show, despite the criticisms they've been receiving.

"Nagpapasalamat pa rin ako sa mga tao because they keep on talking about Pastillas. Anuman ang sabihin nila, whether good or bad, for as long as everyone is talking about it, it makes it relevant," he added.

Joey De Leon thought that "It's Showtime" copied the idea and concept uses in Eat Bulaga's "AlDub" phenomenon by introducing the segment "Nasaan Ka Mr. Pastillas?" last week.

Meet 'Pastillas Girl' Ex-Boyfriend. Enzo Was The Person That Pastillas Girl Mentioned In Her Viral Video.

Two weeks ago, Angelica Yap or popularly known as Pastillas Girl appeared on national TV after she was given an opportunity to be part of ABS-CBN's noontime show. The 21-year old broken-hearted girl rose to fame when her video on how to make "Pastillas de leche" became viral.

It's Showtime started the search for Mr. Pastillas to give smile to Pastillas Girl. For 5 days we saw how Pastillas Girl became happy but deep inside she was still wounded that's why It's Showtime decided to bring the person that caused her pain and that's Enzo her ex-boyfriend. Enzo was the person that Pastillas Girl mentioned in her video.

On Saturday's episode of It's Showtime, the man behind the heartaches of Pastillas Girl has appeared and ask for forgiveness. Pastillas Girl was surprise seeing Enzo coming out from the audience and Vice inviting him to join them in the stage.

According to Enzo, he didn't know that he was the person that Pastillas Girl is mentioning in the video until his friends told him that it was about him. He also said that the Pastillas video affects him, his family and his girlfriend so much.

Angelica ask Enzo if he ever loved her. Enzo immediately answered yes despite of his shortcomings as boyfriend. Pastillas Girl also said sorry for the video and she didn't know that it will go viral.

At the end of the unexpected meeting, Enzo and Angelica shake hands and sealed their past.

VIRAL VIDEO: Commuters Opens Umbrellas Against MRT Shower. Watch the Viral Video of MRT Passengers Using Umbrella while inside the coach of the train.

A video of passengers using their umbrellas inside a MRT train has been uploaded and became a hot topic on social media.

A certain Queenie Marino posted the video on Twitter. Based on the video captured inside a train, passengers unfurled their umbrellas after it began to "rain" inside their coach.

According to MRT general manager Roman Buenafe, the cause of the shower wasn't rain but a blocked air conditioning drain.

14-Year-Old Muslim Student Arrested for Bringing a Homemade Clock to School. This Will Make You Furious!

A 14-year old Muslim student at Texas' Irving MacArthur High got arrested when he brought his homemade clock to the school and showed it to his teacher.

Ahmed Mohamed, a 9th grader, gained punishment after he brought what he thought was an inventive showcase for a class project. He was being arrested and handcuffs.

The clock apparently had a circuit board, a metal case, and a digital clock display.

According to Dallas news, Mohamed is a smart kid who "makes his own radios and reparis his own go-kart," brought in a homemade clock to class. But rather than being impressed, his teacher said it resembled a bomb, and he was sent to the principal's office, where a police officer arrested him in handcuffs.

A police spokesman said there was "no reason to think it was dangerous"; the verdict leans toward a clear case of Islamophobia. Ahmed said when he was brought to the principal an officer (who he's never seen before) looked at him and said, "Yup, that's who I thought it was."

JM de Guzman Dares Enrique Gil to a One-on-One Fight

JM de Guzman must still be pissed after the controversial behavior of Enrique Gil towards his former girlfriend, Jessy Mendiola.

On Instagram, de Guzman (@1migueldeguzman) posted his challenge to Enrique - a one-on-one amateur mixed martial arts fight with a photo of his eyes.

JM's posts reads: "With all due respect to Enrique Gil’s friends, fans, and family. I would like to challenge you to a one on one amatuer mixed martial arts match any place any time. Ill give you time to prepare. Man up. Face me. (reply to my text messages please. ) thanks brother.: @enriquegil17."

The Instagram post has since been deleted but it remained on de Guzman's Twitter feed.

In case you haven't heard, it can be recalled that Jessy and Enrique were reportedly got into an exchange of words after the latter "did something" to Jessy during the September 4 flight of some Kapamilya stars to London. Gil only stopped when Luis Manzano intervened. Enrique seems to have denied the allegations. Jessy's former boyfriend, Jake Cuenca, who was said to have witnessed the incident between Jessy and Enrique decided to keep mum on the issue.
