Luis Manzano's Message to Jessy Mendiola's Bashers - "It definitely made us stronger"

Jessy Mendiola has been the favorite subject of bashers lately, they speculates that she was the reason behind the breakup of Luis Manzano and Angel Locsin. Both Manzano and Mendiola denied the allegations while Locsin refused to comment.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News' Marie Lozano, Luis said that the bashing Jessy received made both of them stronger. "To go through that? It definitely made us stronger," said Luis. "I appreciate her more, her strength — mas bumilib ako sa kanya. Mas malaki lang akong tao pero she's way stronger that I am."

Manzano said people who will look for the faults will always find one.

"Ang taong naghahanap ng mali ay makakahanap ng mali," Manzano explained, referring to the body shaming remarks Mendiola received following her win. "They don't want to understand the other side of the spectrum. To begin with, they never liked her."

"So they wouldn't put any effort into understanding her. Ganoon naman talaga. I'm not going to knock into people's houses, saying, 'Hey, like me.' No, you don't like me? Fine," Manzano added.

PNP to Look Into Activities of De Lima's Driver. PNP chief Director Gen. Ronald "Bato" de la Rosa on Wednesday said they would be looking into the activities of Sen. Leila driver.

On Wendesday, Philippine National Police chief Director Gen. Ronald "Bato" de la Rosa said they will investigate the activities of the alleged driver-lover of Senator Leila de Lima.

During the 115th police service anniversary at Camp Crame, President Duterte publicly made allegations, he accused De Lima having an affair with his driver who allegedly collected cash from the New Bilibid Prisons.

"Here is an immoral woman, insofar as the driver's wife is concerned, it's adultery. Here's a woman who funded a house of a lover and yet we don't see any complaint about it. Those money came readily from drugs. The intercept between Muntinlupa and the driver were far beyond, making sure that somebody was involved." President Duterte angrily said on his speech, referring to a lady senator but he did not mention her name. But he later on revealed to be Senator Leila De Lima.

PNP Chief Ronald Bato Dela Rosa assures the people that he will look into the activities of the driver to prove whether the President's accusations have basis.

"To satisfy you, I will conduct my investigation," Dela Rosa said.

PNP Chief Dela Rosa however said they would not meddle with De Lima's personal affairs until the President gives a formal order.

"Sa ngayon, hindi kami nakikialam baka mamaya gawing personal issue against us eh haharap pa naman kami sa Senado. Hindi kami nakikialam dyan," he clarified.

When Dela Rosa was asked whether the revelation of Duterte will affect the police, he answered: "Affect me? No, naka-focus kami sa issue. "Yung side issues, iba 'yan. Doon kami naka-focus sa subject."

Taylor Swift is Donating $1 Million to the Louisiana Flooding Relief Effort. Devastating floods have struck Louisiana, with tens of thousands of people forced from their homes.

Taylor Swift is donating $1 million to Louisiana flood relief after torrential rains caused massive flooding in the state and killed at least 11 people.

Swift told the Associated Press that she love the people of the state because they welcomed her warmly as the tour of her album started.

"We began the 1989 world tour in Louisiana, and the wonderful fans made us feel completely at home. The fact that many people in Louisiana have been forced out their homes this week is heartbreaking," said Swift.

She also encouraged everyone to help.

"I encourage those who can help out and send your love and prayers their way during the devastating time," said Swift.

The flooding is some of the worst in Louisiana history, damaging at least 40,000 homes. More than 60,000 people have registered for disaster aid from the Federal Emergency Management Agency after widespread flooding hit the state, according to Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards' office.

VIRAL: STI Students Posts Picture While Showing Dirty Finger at Teacher While Busy Writing on the Board

A group of STI students currently become viral after posting a photo raising their middle fingers while taking a groufie inside the classroom as the teacher was busy writing on the board.

According to sources, these students are said to come from STI College in Davao City.

The group of students uploaded a photo with the caption, “ATM. Regards sa naka PINK” – the teacher is the only one wearing pink (a pink blazer) in the room.

Netizens tracked the picture noting that the person who uploaded is a certain Paulyn Saberon.

After the said photo was posted online, it easily went viral and gained criticism and anger from netizens who looked at the picture are disrespectful for the teacher.

VIRAL: Filipina Gives Birth Onboard Cebu Pacific Flight, 5 Hours Away from the Philippines!

Monday afternoon, a normal flight was turned into an extraordinary and indeed incredible flight after a passenger of Dubai Cebu Pacific flight that's bound for Manila, gave birth inside the plane!

One of the passengers, Missy Berberabe Umandal has recalled how their flight became extra-memorable after her co-passenger felt some contractions mid-flight when they're still five hours away from the Philippines.

"Flight attendants started calling for medical assistance, and luckily, there were two nurses among the passengers. She was already crowning, so she was brought to the more spacious area in front of the plane," Umandal said in a Facebook post

"We only heard one semi-loud screech, and a few seconds later, there were tinier, cute screeches, and it was when we knew the baby was born. Luckily, she [passenger] only had to push once," she added.

The passenger then returned to her seat after she gave birth. Another kind hearted passenger also offered infant clothes for the newborn baby.

"One of the passengers had a suitcase full of infant clothes and necessities, which could not have come at a better time. They had a sterilized shelf filled mineral water as a makeshift wash basin to clean the baby in," Umandal added.

The baby who was named as Haven. She was born in India but will be given a Philippine passport and will have a Filipino citizenship.

The baby will then be given free Cebu Pacific Flights for the rest of her life But still, Cebu Pacific has yet to confirm this but this is a tradition to many airlines around the world.

She explained that the luxurious things like designer bags, the BMW car, and jewelry all came from his husband who was a businessman even before entering politics, according to Kathleen. Also, she clarified that the P500 and P1000 bills decorated inside their house was just part of their New Year’s Eve tradition.

President Rodrigo Duterte allowed a hero’s burial for former president Ferdinand Marcos.

During a talk on Sunday, Duterte said Marcos is entitled to such honors. He took note of the law saying it provides that former presidents and soldiers are qualified for hero’s burial.

“I will allow the burial of Marcos in the Libingan ng mga Bayani,” said Duterte. “Marcos was a president and as a matter of fact, I voted for him. He is qualified to be buried there.”

A memorandum was already sent to the officials of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) in reference to the verbal order of the President on July 11.

Army Spokesperson Col. Benjamin Hao said the representatives of the Marcos family already have gone to the cemetery in Taguig City to pick a burial site.

The Wall Street Journal quoted former senator Bongbong Marcos who noted that the burial might be on September 18.

“It has always been our family’s position that it is our father’s right under the law to be buried there being a soldier and a former president of this country. Our campaign has always been toward achieving unity to move the country forward,” said Bongbong.

Duterte said if people will oppose his decision, he will allow them.

“Kung ayaw ng ibang Pilipino, fine. Mag-demonstrate, go ahead. You can use the streets, one month,” said Duterte.
