'Goin' Bulilit' Airs 10th Anniversary Documentary Special

The longest running kiddie gag show turns 10 this year! “Goin’ Bulilit,” the top-rating children’s comedy show of ABS-CBN, is airing its 10th anniversary documentary special this Sunday (January 31), featuring “Bulilit” graduates and the brains behind the genius concept, the “Gag Father,” Direk Bobot Mortiz.

Serving as a venue to launch the careers of some of this generation’s brightest young stars, “Goin’ Bulilit” has been a training ground for aspiring young celebrities to hone their comedic skills and earn exposure in showbiz. For this Sunday’s documentary, “Bulilit” graduates recall their “Goin’ Bulilit” days and express their gratitude for the show. Kathryn Bernardo, Nash Aguas, Alexa Ilacad and Jane Oineza are just some of the biggest stars who came from the ten-year old kiddie gag show.

Meanwhile, “Gag Father” Direk Bobot looks back on the success of “Goin’ Bulilit,” saying that he is grateful for the Kapamilya network to have entrusted him the show and for being part of the success of the former and current cast of “Goin’ Bulilit.”

Valerie Concepcion Plays a Battered Wife in 'Ipaglaban Mo'

Valerie Concepcion (Norma) plays a battered wife in “Ipaglaban Mo” this Saturday (January 31).

Because she wanted a complete family for her children, Norma stayed beside her husband Tony (Emilio Garcia) despite his rude treatment towards her, and moreover, having a mistress. She was also uncertain if she could raise them alone. Norma only took the guts to leave her abusive husband when she realized the negative effect of Tony’s infidelity to her eldest child Donna (Michelle Vito).

She sought help from the court so Tony could not escape from his responsibilities to support his children’s needs. However, Tony insisted that Norma could not ask for financial support because he did not force them to leave his house. Whose side did the court take?

Vina Morales and Denise Laurel Become Stronger Because of Love

Vina Morales and Denise Laurel both admit that they can relate to their characters when it comes to love in ABS-CBN’s newest afternoon drama series “Nasaan Ka Nang Kailangan Kita.”

“I can really relate to Cecilia’s life because we both have to be strong as single moms for our children. Like her, I have become tougher as a person and as a mother because of my experiences in love,” said Vina about her role in one of the newest Kapamilya Gold teleseryes.

According to Denise, she can see herself in the personality of her character Toni when it comes to love. “For me, Toni and I share similarities when we fall in love because we are both ready to sacrifice and do everything to let our loved ones know how we feel for them,” she said.

Meanwhile, TV viewers will surely be more thrilled in the next episodes of “Nasaan Ka Nang Kailangan Kita” now that teen stars Jane Oineza, Jerome Ponce, Joshua Garcia, and Loisa Andalio will soon appear in the series as Corinne, Ryan, Joel, and Bea, respectively.

WATCH: Manny Pacquiao, Floyd Mayweather Meet Face to Face

Filipino boxing champ Manny Pacquiao and American boxer Floyd Mayweather were seen talking at at one National Basketball Association (NBA) game.

Pacquiao and Mayweather attended the game between Miami Heat and Milwaukee Bucks. Both of them were at the court side during the game held at the American Airlines Arena. During half-time, the two were photographed hugging, shook hands and even exchanged numbers to probably discuss further the details of their upcoming fight.

Later Pacquiao admitted that Mayweather approached him during the half time and had brief talk. He also confirmed that he and the American fighter exchanged numbers promising each other of communication.

"He gave his number to me and said will communicate with each other," said Pacquiao as quoted by Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press.

Pacquiao said it is his first time to talk to Mayweather noting that he was only informed about a minute that he will be approached by the undefeated boxer.

Mayweather, on the other hand, said he wanted to talk to Pacquiao to clarify "all the lies" that have been hampering the discussions between both camps.

Pacquiao was only at the Heat-Bucks game because his flight was cancelled due to the Winter Storm Juno. It was also reported that Pacquiao was spotted outside the Miami Heat's locker room ahead of the game, probably about to meet head coach Erik Spoelstra, who is half-Filipino.

Alex Gonzaga and Matteo Guidicelli to Play Inspiring Couple in Drama-Comedy Episode of 'MMK'

Alex Gonzaga and Matteo Guidicelli will team up for the first time on ABS-CBN’s “Maalaala Mo Kaya” to tell the life story of long time couple, Jocelyn and Marlon, the first contestants to bag the P1 million jackpot prize in “It’s Showtime’s” game segment in 2012.

Taylor Swift's Instagram and Twitter Account Hacked

Taylor Swift's personal Twitter account was hacked on Tuesday. Two tweets were sent out to her 51.4 million followers asking them to follow @veriuser and @lizzard, who claims to have ties to the Lizard Squad, a black hat hacker group. Both accounts have since been suspended.

For the past few months celebrities are frequent targets of hackers who have posted personal and embarrassing information online in previous high-profile hacks.

The publicist of Taylor Swift did not immediately respond to numerous queries about the details of the hacking incident while Twitter and Facebook-owned Instagram did not immediately respond for comment on whether Taylor Swift's account have been hacked.

The hacking of Taylor Swift's account also coincides with the recent outage experience by Facebook and Instagram throughout Asia, United States and some parts of Europe.

Swift is one of the most followed account on the social media site, fourth behind Katy Perry (64 million), Justin Bieber (59.7 million) and President Barack Obama (53.9 million).

Representatives from Twitter and Instagram declined to comment.

1. The live coverage of the 63rd Miss Universe was the most-watched daytime program yesterday (Jan. 26). It scored a national TV rating of 16.8%, beating rival shows on GMA namely, “Bleach” (8.5%), “Fairytail” (8.1%), “Slamdunk” (7.4%) , “Knock Out” (6.8%) and “The Ryzza Mae Show” (6.5%)

2. More viewers tuned in to the grand finals of “It’s Showtime’s” “PINASikat” last Saturday (Jan. 24) as it recorded a national TV rating of 18.4%, or 8 points higher than rival noontime show “Eat Bulaga” (10.5%).

VIDEO: Woman Jumps Off Building, Boyfriend Catches her from Floor Below

A desperate woman caught on camera jumps off building after a prolonged fight with her boyfriend.

Deciding that her life wasn’t really what it was meant to be, she believed that the only thing she could do was to jump from a top floor window. Fortunately for her, her boyfriend acted quickly.

After he tried to enter in her locked room, he decided to go to an inferior floor.

There, he saw her girlfriend preparing to jump. Making a great effort, the man managed to catch her and, with the help of some neighbours and some firemen, they saved the young and reckless woman.

Jolina and Marvin's 'Flordeliza' Airs on a New Timeslot

Beginning Monday (January 26), the Twitter-trending afternoon drama series “Flordeliza” starring Jolina Magdangal and Marvin Agustin will air on a new time slot, 2:30PM, on ABS-CBN’s Kapamilya Gold block.

Meanwhile, the story’s plot thickens now that Florida (Jolina) resides with Crisanto (Marvin) and his legal wife, Elizabeth (Desiree del Valle).

How far will Florida’s unconditional love for Crisanto take her? Can Florida tell her daughter, Flor (Ashley Sarmiento) that Crisanto has another family? What will Elizabeth do once she discovers that the person whom she hired as Crisanto’s caregiver is her husband’s other woman?

“Flordeliza” is based on the names of the lead characters, Florida and her daughter Flor, and Elizabeth and her child Liza (Rhed Bustamante). It is a tale about two families. VIDEO: ‘Spyros’ Named 1st Grand ‘PINASikat’ Champion on ‘It’s Showtime’

Brother duo Spyros was hailed as the first-ever grand champion of “It’s Showtime’s” “PINASikat” for their extraordinary tricks using the diabolo or Chinese yoyo in the latent competition’s grand finals at the Ynares Center last Saturday (Enero 24).

Brothers and college students Marc and Marco Betito won P1 million and a house and lot from Camella, after showing off their moves in their breathtaking performance, the only one that received a standing ovation from judges Zsa Zsa Padilla, Iza Calzado, Sunshine Cruz, Epy Quizon, Nikki Valdez, Myrtle Sarrosa, Bayani Agbayani, Pooh, Arjo Atayde, Meg Imperial, Matt Evans, Abra, Jimmy Bondoc, Bangs Garcia, Arron Villaflor, Dominic Ochoa, Assunta de Rossi, Gino Padilla, Precious Lara Quigaman, and resident judge and host Jhong Hilario.

They also left the crowd in the Ynares Center roaring and cheering and got a perfect score of 10 from them.

The brothers, who grew up in New York, came home to the Philippines to learn more about Filipino culture and share their talent with their kababayans. Spyros beat out all the 15 grand finalists from different parts in Luzon and Visayas to become the first-ever grand champion of the talent segment, which ran for five months.

“It’s Showtime’s” highly anticipated “PINASikat” grand finals recorded a national TV rating of 18.4% across urban and rural homes in the country, beating rival program “Eat Bulaga,” which only got 10.5%, according to data from Kantar Media.

Meanwhile, the country’s number one noontime show also launched the “Face 3” of its hit and well-loved segment “Kalokalike” to search for people who can best imitate popular local and foreign celebrities based on appearance, behavior, and performance. To audition, just go to the ABS-CBN Audience Entrance in Quezon City from Mondays to Fridays, 3-5PM, bring a valid ID, and look for Bing Ramos or Danjosh Zacarias. Piolo Pascual Figures in Vehicular Accident Resulting to Bone Fracture and Scratches

The ABS-CBN released a statement that actor Piolo Pascual was now taking a rest after getting hurt in a bike accident.

The statement was read by Kris Aquino and Boy Abunda via their late night show “Aquino & Abunda Tonight” noted that Pascual injured a finger and sustained bruises after getting caught in a bike accident while shooting for ABS-CBN Mobile.

He was then treated, sent home and advised to take a rest.

“Piolo Pascual had a minor bike accident while shooting an ad for ABS-CBN Mobile earlier today, January 22. He has a few scratches and a small fracture in his finger. He already received proper medical attention for his injuries and has been cleared by the doctors to go home and rest,” the statement said.

The official statement was released after news surfaced noting that the accident was grave.

Aquino called for the people to stop exaggerating things.

“Bakit sinasabi natin ito mga kaibigan? Dahil lumabas na po and iba’t ibang balita kanina na napakalaking aksidente and nangyari kanina kay Piolo Pascual, hindi po ito totoo,” Abunda noted.

Kuya Kim Celebrates Birthday in Thailand

WATCH: Heart Evangelista and Chiz Escudero Prenuptial

Senator Chiz Escudero and actress Heart Evangelista just released the teaser of their prenuptial.

The newly-released teaser was uploaded by renowned photographer, Bob Nicolas. It showed the pre-wedding pictorial of the Escudero and Evangelista in Sorsosogon.

The first part of the video featured the voice of Escudero describing what he loved about Evangelista.

“What do I like about her? The fact that she surprises me each time, the fact that I thought kilala ko na siya [pero] hindi pa pala, the fact na akala ko sosyal and way up there, hindi naman pala,” said Escudero.

“As we experience the daily grind of life, as we experience ordinary things, that’s when I get to know her better. And she never ceases to amaze and surprise me with small things. Well, more so with the big things,” Escudero added.

Evangelista, on her part, noted that she use to forget she’s dating a senator as Escudero is like a child.

“He’s so funny, para siyang bata. In fact, to a fault that I forget he’s a senator kasi napaka-normal niyang tao. We live such a normal life, we really enjoy every day of our lives together kasi he really makes me laugh,” said Evangelista.

The teaser ended with Evanghelista and Escudero driving through Sorsogon.

VIDEO: Tragic River Accident Caught on Camera

Never underestimate the power of nature. This video caught few moments before the flash flood in the famous Patalpani waterfall near Indore.

Rathi family enjoy a quiet Sunday, not knowing that an accident would happen. The water current caught all the five people, three of them Chhavi, Chandrashekhar and Mudita downed dead, while the other two rescued by local people, Mudita's brother and another youth.

Reasons Why Johnny Depp Loves Manila

Hollywood actor Johnny Depp revealed during an interview with ABS-CBN's Balitang Amerika that he really loved Manila. He recalled how beautiful Manila is.

30 years ago, Depp, 51, spent some months in the Philippines when he filmed the movie "Platoon" in 1986, he often visited the city of Manila during that time.

"I was there for about three-and-a-half months and lived in the jungle for two weeks, which is far less enticing than Manila. We'd coast down to Manila every weekend or every chance we got," Depp said.

He also noted that his experience in Manila made him felt like he was in a Hemingway book.

"Oh, Manila was beautiful, I love Manila. That was great, great time. It felt like you were in a Hemingway book," Depp added.

Depp is back in the big screen with the comedy action film "Mortdecai," along with Gwyneth Paltrow, Ewan Macgregor, Paul Bettany, Olivia Munn and Jeff Goldblum.

This movie, which was directed by David Koepp, features the story of Charlie Mortdecai (Depp), a professional bon vivant and occasional art dealer who is about to experience financial breakdown.

To continue with his lavish lifestyle Mortdecai accepted a challenge of his college friend, Aliatair Mainland (Macgregor) to find a missing Goya painting. However, an American Heiress and a revolutionary want it too.

"Mortdecai" will hit the theaters in January 22.

Teaming up with the "Wedding Crasher" director David Dobkin, Maroon 5 band crashed real life couples wedding for their surprise- filled new music video named 'Sugar'.

The Maroon 5 vocalist, Adam Levine, explain, "We're gonna drive across LA and hit every wedding we possibly can."

Levine also said, "It was an out-of-body experience. I had no idea I would be affected by the overwhelming reactions we received from the couples and guests. Being able to create an unforgettable experience for several people was the highlight of it all."

VIDEO: Man Walks Calmly With Metal Rod in His Head

A New Zealand man walked calmly with a metal rod stuck in his head at a gasoline station.

According to the witnesses, the 23-year-old man looked like playing pranks on the people around after he appeared with a rod lodged in his head. However, after a few minutes, they realized that he’s badly hurt, but only calm about it.

"I was like, 'Man is this TV show? Is this for real?'", said Mr. Lester Gray, the owner of the gasoline station. "It looked like a Halloween costumes over their heads, but it was pretty real when he turned around and blood was coming down of his head."

When asked the man if he had a drumstick in his head, he replied "Nah, it's a rod."

He was able to kept his cool and was later rushed to the hospital. Reportedly, he remained stable.

The Associated Press said that the man was brutally attacked by a stranger, who punched him on his head and essentially hit him with a rod that impaled into it.

The Associated Press also released a video taken by the CCTV inside the convenience store at the gasoline station showing how the man entered the and remained calm. People's reaction around him was priceless.
