The much-awaited 2014 Christmas Station ID of ABS-CBN is now up!
The song "Thank You Ang Babait Ninyo" reminds people that despite of the hardships there are still lots of things that should be thankful for. This was interpreted by “The Voice Kids” top 4 Lyca Gairanod, Darren Espanto, Juan Karlos Labajo, and Darlene Vibares.
Written by Robert Labayen along with Love Rose de Leon and Lloyd Corpuz, this song features a part from the most popular Christmas that kids (carollers) usually sing whenever they are given with some coins.
The latter part of video features different ordinary people speaking in front of the camera saying the things that they are thankful for. Some thanked their loved ones for financial support and everlasting love while some are quite thankful for their career.
"(The song) is a meaningful take on the usual Filipino Christmas carol. It centers on gratitude that are innate in every Filipino. Listening to it, along with the organic melody arranged by SID veterans, Amber and Marcus Davis, gives an overwhelming feeling of appreciation to the people who have touched our lives and the blessings that we have received," a part of the video description said.
The official music video of "Thank You Ang Babait Ninyo" featuring Kapamilya stars and anchors is set to be released this October.
