Mayor Rodrigo Duterte had been serving the city of Davao for a few years, but after all these years his home remains simple despite of having authority and power over the place. Duterte lived a simple life.

What's inside Duterte's home?
The photos, which can be seen in Rappler, shows a two-storey house which is built inside a government housing compound he started decades ago.
The simplicity of the home is truly mesmerizing. If there are two things that the Mayor loves, it is his collection of shoes and books.
"The only thing I have in common with Imelda Marcos," Duterte joked that his large collection of shoes were the only things he has in common with the former First Lady.
The staircase serves as his everyday exercise before he could reach his bedroom.
Mayor Duterte shares his home with his partner, a nurse named Honeylet, and their young daughter Veronica.
