Musician and former vocalist of the rock band Alamid passed away.
Gary Ignacio died at 2:50 p.m. on Friday, April 17, 2015 at the National Kidney and Transplant Institute (NKTI) due to multiple organ failure brought by bone cancer.
His wake will be held at the Sto. Rosario Village Chapel, at Bgy. Baritan Malabon City.
Ignacio was survived by his wife, Buena and three children.

Alamid was popular for the song “Your Love” that made them on top during the 90s. The song was also named as the Song of the Year at the NU107 Rock Awards in 1995.
Their song “China Eyes” was also used in the ABS-CBN comedy show “Palibhasa Lalake.”
Ignacio was an active member of the non-profit organization Dakila. He also co-founded the Malabon Musicians Alliance that launched the Climate School Malabon, which aimed to educate the youth on climate change and environment protection through music and art.
He also pushed the concert called “Bazurock” to call for plastic-free Malabon.
