Veteran actress and former cancer survivor Liezl Martinez has succumbed to breast cancer at the age of 47. Liezl's death was announced on Saturday morning, March 14, 2015, which saddened the entertainment industry. Liezl Martinez is the wife of actor Albert Martinez.
The 47 years old Liezl Martinez was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer cancer in 2008. She underwent chemotherapy and was cleared of cancer in 2010.
Three years later, when the actress hair had started to grow long and finally to regain its luster, Liezl Martinez learned her cancer had returned and metastasized to her left lung and she was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer.
Liezl is survived by her husband and 3 children Alyanna, Alfonso, and Alyssa.
