Matteo Guidicelli has strongly denied that he and girlfriend Sarah Geronimo have parted ways and are now on their own.
"Hiwalay? Ay hindi po, of course not," said the Guidicelli, 25, when asked if the rumors of their breakup were true.
Guidicelle disproved rumors that he and his relationship with Geronimo, 26, was on the rocks after the Popstar became emotional during latest episode of "The Voice Philippines" Season 2.
Guidicelli said Geronimo became emotional because she was too attached to the competition.
"Ah wala. Sobrang stressed lang siya sa 'The Voice.' Sobrang pinu-puso niya 'yung 'The Voice.' Sobrang importante ang 'The Voice' sa kanya. 'The Voice' is really demanding so syempre, all of use, we all have our personal ups and downs. So, we just pray for the best kumbaga," said Matteo.
Guidicelli admitted that they missed being together to celebrate Valentine's Day, because of their commitments. He however noted that they have been having talks regarding their future.
"Siyempre may mga times na pinag-uusapan namin pero siyempre we're still fresh in the relationship. Nothing concrete or anything, it's just ideas, parang ganoon lang," Guidicelli said.
During the Sunday episode of "The Voice", Geronimo became extremely emotional when she had to choose between Monique Lualhati and Kokoi Baldo to who will advance to final face-off of her group. She chose Lualhati noting ofher desire to continue.
