Arjo Atayde and Joseph Marco may be best friends, but they reveal in “Tapatan Ni Tunying” airing this Thursday (October 30) that neither of them will give way when it comes to courting “Pure Love” leading lady Alex Gonzaga.
“If Arjo pursues Alex, I will pursue her too. May the best man win. But then again, I will make sure that it won’t destroy our friendship,” says Joseph.
Though Arjo and Joseph have publicly expressed their admiration for Alex, both of them decided to temporarily set aside their feelings to maintain their good working relationship in “Pure Love”.
“I’m building a friendship with her right now and I’m being professional. I don’t want us to feel awkward,” says Arjo.
“I find her amazing, but as of now, she is focused on her career, and I am as well. If given a chance, why wouldn’t I pursue her?” adds Joseph.
Now that the finale of “Pure Love” has been set on November 14, Arjo ponders if he will finally woo Alex, while Joseph says he won’t let Arjo win over Alex’s heart.
