After being dared by Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, Celebrity couple Bea Alonzo and Zanjoe Marudo also took the ALS ice bucket challenge, hours after the nomination, on Tuesday, August 27, 2014.
The couple nominated Toni Gonzaga and Paul Soriano, director Cathy Garcia-Molina, Kapuso child star Ryzza Mae Dizon, and basketball star LA Tenorio.
The challenge aims to raise awareness about Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). Those who fail to do the dare and upload the video on the internet within 24 hours will have to donate a hundred dollars to ALSa.org or to any other organizations that fund research for the disease.
