We found out that the alleged caught mermaid was an sculpture, designed and conceptualized by Joel Harlow, one of the most innovative makeup and special makeup artists and designers in American motion pictures.
Joel Harlow, the guy behind the makeup effects of many high profile movies such as "How the Grinch stole Christmas," "A.I. Artificial Intelligence," "Planet of the Apes," and "Constantine" as well as the "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl". He is friends with Johnny Depp and the director of the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' Gore Verbinski as well as the producer Jerry Bruckheimer.
For us, despite the fact that this photos of mermaid was found HOAX and NO evidence has ever been found of their existence. We still believe in possibilities that real mermaid are existing and they haven’t found yet.
