Derek Ramsay's Ex-Wife Mary Christine Jolly Surfaced

Mary Christine Jolly, the estranged wife of Derek Ramsay, faced the camera on Friday noting that she will never back out with their legal disputes.

Recently, Derek Ramsay's Estranged Wife Jolly surfaced and filed a complaint against actor Derek Ramsay in Violation of Anti-Violence Against Women and their Children Act. Derek Ramsay's Estranged Wife admitted that she's asking for financial support for their 11-year-old son, but denied that she is demanding P48 million from the actor.

According to Jolly she and Ramsay got married in 2002 in Balagtas, Bulacan, which was also confirmed by the actor. She said they separated due to disagreements with her opting to live in Dubai raising their son all by her self. She decided to contact Ramsay about their son after he started to ask about him.

In earlier statements, Ramsay said he was able to confirm that he has a son with Jolly in August 2011 and explained that he didn’t show him to the world as he wanted to “Keep my relationship with him private."

"I wanted to know my son first and keep my relationship with him private," Ramsay said. "He was just an 8-year-old boy then and he would not be able to comprehend the possible media curiosity, specially he was then new to the country and about to pursue his education here."

Jolly claimed that she informed Ramsay about her pregnancy, but the actor ignored her. She kept in touch with Ramsay despite he allegedly continued not to speak with her until 2010 when she decided to go back in the Philippines with their son.

"I just wanted to assert my rights as mother to my kid. Derek is using his money to influence my son's behavior. I want to live a normal life again. I just hope that the law will favor and protect us from the abuses committed against us by Derek," Jolly said.

Atty. Jojo Alonso, the legal counsel of Ramsay, said the camp of the actor will answer the allegations in court.
