Family of bed-ridden senior just wanted to have someone to look after her, but it turned out into a nightmare.
Emilie Magbanua was caught in the closed-circuit television (CCTV) maltreating the bed-ridden senior citizen, only known as Lola Miring in Caloocan, Philippines.
She was seen forcing the spoon into the mouth of the poor lady and she was obviously hurt. However, the woman can’t fight back as she’s very weak due to her age. The actions repeatedly made in just a matter of minutes. She was also seen in the video squeezing the nose of helpless woman.
“Napalingon lang ako sa CCTV eh. Kasi nakita ko yung lola ko parang may ginagawa siya. Nireview ko,” one of the grand daughters said. “Nakita ko nga si lola kung paano niya isalaksak yung kutsara sa kanya.”
What’s worst is that Magbanua tied the hands of the defenseless woman.
Tess, one of the daughters of the woman, filed a local unit and police blotter against Magbanua who initially denied the beatings. However, she released and was only asked to leave. No criminal charges were filed against her.
Lola Miring sustained bruising on her cheek and hands.
The authorities advised the family of the victim for file a case against the suspect to prevent it from happening.
