Kapamilya actor John Lloyd Cruz was rushed to a hospital Thursday afternoon, February 20, 2014 after he figured in a bike accident while shooting a new station ID for ABS-CBN in Mount Pinatubo.
The 30-year-old John Lloyd Cruz was reportedly riding a bike but he accidentally fell off the bike face first while trying to avoid a pothole. He was then rushed to a nearby hospital where he received four stitches after he sustained an open wound under the his left nostril, where some stone reportedly entered.
According to Tess Gubi of Star Magic, "John Lloyd Cruz had a minor bike accident during a shoot and he has undergone immediate medical treatment. He is fine and in good condition. The results have come out clear and Cruz was eventually discharged,” Tess Gubi said.
Rumors spreading online that Angelica Panganiban, John LLoyd's girlfriend was also involve on the accident.
Star Magic management through Tess Gubi denied earlier reports that Angelica Panganiban was hurt, "Angelica was present in the shoot but was not part of the scene and not involved in the accident, we thank everyone for their concern," she said.
