German 'Kuya Germs' Moreno Suffers Mild Stroke

Showbiz Veteran German Moreno was rushed to the hospital after suffering from mild stroke.

Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP) reported quoting Moreno's son that the host is currently resting at the Acute Stroke Unit, the intensive care unit specifically designed for stroke, of the St. Lukes Medical Center in Quezon City.

When asked how is his father doing, Federico said he is "okay."

Fedrico added that his family would like to "humbly ask for your prayers for quick recovery. Please pray for papa" adding that "it's just that he cannot entertain any calls nor guests for the coming days. Hope you understand."

Startalk reporter, Gorgy Rula said "his right leg is at 50 percent mobility. 0 percent on his right arm and a bit of slurry speech.

Chuchi Fajardo, the secretary of Moreno said he suffered from a mild stroke due to "over fatigue". She also seconded that the veteran host should first undergo a bed rest before he can accept visitors.

German Moreno, 71, is one of the most respected personality in the Showbizness. He is an actor, host, comedian, talent manager and show producer. He started in the industry during the 1970s and later rose into fame after given with a break of hosting the Sunday noontime show, GMA Supershow.
