Edgar Allan Guzman is a Gay Caregiver in 'MMK'


Edgar Allan Guzman will portray the character of a gay caregiver named Jing on ABS-CBN’s “Maalaala Mo Kaya” this Saturday (January 24).



He will be co-starring with veteran actor Nonie Buencamino who will play Jing’s father, Adoy, who despite his disapproval of his son’s sexual preference, remained the strength of his child especially during life’s hardest trials.


Also part of the upcoming “MMK” family drama episode are Shamaine Centenera, John Spainhour, Mikylla Ramirez, Casey da Silva, Neil Coleta, Kokoy de Santos and “Pinoy Big Brother” alumni Vicky Rushton and Rica Paras. It is directed by Efren Vibar and written by Ruel Montañez.


“MMK” is led by business unit head Malou Santos and creative manager Mel Mendoza-del Rosario.


Capturing the hearts of Filipino viewers all over the world for the past 23 years, “Maalaala Mo Kaya” has legions of fans from different generations who cried, laughed, fell in love, and got inspired through the real-life narratives of the show’s letter-senders.
