The iconic Jollibee has once again had proven that it’s worth taking a shot in the international market.
Just recently, a US-based food enthusiast, Adam Lapetina, via the website The Thrillist, ranked 16 of the best restaurants in America and guess what? Jollibee clinched the top spot.
“[Jollibee] is a giant anthropomorphic red bee who’s one of the most recognizable figures in the Philippines, and with good reason,” said Lapetina. “This guy slings Filipino comfort food (tuna pies!! SPAM sandwiches!! Spicy fried chicken!!) at over 2,000 locations worldwide, including a few locations stateside. Look out, Grimace.”
Jollibee bested other restaurants coming from Singapore, United Kingdom, Australia, China South Africa, France, Saudi Arabia and a lot more.

The Thrillist is one of the most talked-about food, drink and travel website. It started in 2003 as an email newsletter that gives highlight of the best bar and restaurant openings each day. Since then, it expanded in different US states and the world.
