Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte declared running for President in the 2016 national elections.

A video is currently circulating online showing Mayor Duterte declaring his presidential aspirations.

In the video, Duterte told his supporters not to blamed him if ever he wants to run for President, to the delight of the crowd. However, it is not clear in the video that he will really run for President.
