Game master Tom Rodriguez showed pure manly side by showing the softer him during the recent taping of the Kapuso game show,"Don't Lose the Money."
Rodriguez was supposed to announce the results of the game when one of the day's contestants Pancho Magno walked out of the set, prompting his team mates Bettina Carlos and Victor Basa to follow.
John Lapus from the opposing team showed his disapproval with the attitude of the other team making his team mate Rafael Rosell to walk out on stage too. Sweet can’t help but burst out his frustration to his fellow team mate Pauleen Luna saying "Game lang 'to. Ang cheap naman.. It's part of the game."
A few seconds later all the contestants who walked out of stage carrying cakes turned out it's a part of the surprise for Rodriguez' birthday.
Carla Abellana, his leading lady and the woman he is dating also appeared on stage. She took the hand of the already sobbing Rodriguez saying that all she's praying to God that he will be able to carry all the struggles in life.
"Actually hindi ko na kailangan ipagdasal na bigyan ka ni God ng madaming blessings kasi alam ko he will bless you anundantly because you work so hard and you are so determined. So sana, kayanin mo na lang lahat ng trials, lahat ng struggles na darating sa buhay mo," Abellana said.
Carla then added that surprise isn't over yet. A message coming from Rodriguez' family in U.S. was seen, making the big man cry.
Obviously, overwhelmed with what he saw, Tom thanked everyone who prepared the surprise for him.
"Thank you eveyone," said a still sobbing Tom. "Best birthday ever. Even though I'm far away from my family, kahit malayo sila, namimiss ko sila araw-araw. Sobrang saya po kaya thank you so much."
