Riding-in-tandem Snatchers Who Preyed HS Students in Quezon City Arrested in Antipolo


The riding-in-tandem snatchers who were caught in Closed-circuit television (CCTV) preying a female high school student in Brgy. Laging Handa, Quezon City last week, were arrested by local police in their hideout in Antipolo.

The ABS-CBN News reported that the victims were able to took down the plate number of the motorcycle used by the suspects, which is ZM4752. The Bgy. Laging Handa was able to track down the owner of the said vehicle leading to the arrest of Ralph De Guzman, the snatcher and Gilbert Pazcoguin, the driver of the motorcycle.


The motorcycle was also recovered. It was registered under the name of Pazcoguin.


Both suspects are positively identified by the victim and her friends. They are from Rizal, but use to victimize helpless people in Quezon City. Just this August 2014, Pazcoguin has two record of snatching.


In the CCTV video, De Guzman was first seen walking back and forth the area where the young ladies were by standing. He then suddenly grabbed the one of the young ladies pushed her onto a gate and have successfully stole her cellphone. The suspects immediately left the place. The footage also showed some residents coming into the rescue of the minors.

The two are now facing Robbery. Aside from robbery, child abuse charges will also be filed aginst them because their victim was a minor.
